How do I download eBooks, eAudiobooks, music, & more?
Ebooks
The library currently offers two sources for downloadable ebooks: Overdrive and Freading.
Both require either a compatible Android or iOS tablet or smartphone for reading with the app, or a personal computer with internet access and web browser for reading on the web at:

or
cml.freading.com
Both also require a current library card and PIN code.
Logging in to the Freading app on your phone or tablet requires the following steps:
- Establish a free Adobe ID at adobe.com if you don't currently have one
- Enter your Adobe ID and password in the app when prompted
- Once past the Adobe ID prompt, Select the menu icon (3 Horizontal bars located in the upper right corner)
- Click "get books"
- On the website that loads up, click "login"
- Fill in one of the location prompts to find and select "Cook Memorial Library"
- Enter your library card number, with no spaces, followed by your PIN code
- Click "accept" after reviewing terms of service to finalize your sign in
- Begin checking out and reading materials!
Logging into Overdrive's Libby app requires the following steps:
- Install the Libby App from your app store
- Open the app and follow the prompts to find your library by zipcode
- Choose "LEO Listens" from the "choose a location" list
- Browse and borrow titles
- borrowed titles appear under Shelf>Loans and will download automatically when on WiFi
Audiobooks
Audiobooks are available through Overdrive's "Libby" app.
Audiobooks require either a compatible Android or iOS tablet or smartphone for listening with the app, or a personal computer with internet access and web browser for listening on the web at:

- Install the Libby App from your app store
- Open the app and follow the prompts to find your library by zipcode

Music
Free music is available through the Freegal app.
Freegal requires either a compatible Android or iOS tablet or smartphone for listening with the app, or a personal computer with internet access and a web browser for listening on the web at:
Freegalmusic.com
The Freegal music app requires a current library card and PIN code.
Logging into the Freegal Music app requires the following steps:
- Install the Freegal Music app from your app store
- Open the app and follow the prompts to find your library by zipcode
- Choose "Cook Memorial Library" from the "Select your library" list
- Enter your library card barcode number and PIN code
- Enter an email address if you want notifications enabled
- Browse and borrow titles!
- The Freegal Music app allows downloads via Wifi or Phone data
